1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using fegura ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

fegura is an infrastructure documentation platform that connects to your AWS accounts to scan, analyze, and generate visual diagrams and documentation of your cloud infrastructure. The Service provides:

  • Infrastructure scanning and discovery
  • Automated diagram generation
  • Export capabilities (PNG, SVG, PDF)
  • Team collaboration features (on applicable plans)

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. AWS Access

To use the Service, you grant fegura read-only access to your AWS accounts through AWS IAM roles. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have the authority to grant such access to your AWS accounts
  • fegura uses read-only permissions and cannot modify your infrastructure
  • We use temporary STS credentials and do not store your AWS access keys
  • You are responsible for configuring appropriate IAM permissions
  • You may revoke access at any time by removing the IAM role

5. Subscription and Billing

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription plan
  • Automatic renewal of subscriptions unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • The terms of service of our payment processor

Refunds

For information about refunds, please see our Refund Policy. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond intended API usage
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service for competitive analysis or to build competing products
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized users to access your account

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to your infrastructure data, diagrams, and any content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

Our Platform

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by fegura and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of diagrams or documentation generated by the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEGURA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination. After that period, we may delete your data.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
