Eraser is great at turning Terraform and CloudFormation into diagrams — but you have to paste the code in yourself, and the diagram goes stale the moment something changes outside of IaC. Fegura connects to your live AWS account and keeps diagrams current automatically.

If you write all your infrastructure as code and want to generate diagrams from it, Eraser's IaC-to-diagram workflow is excellent. It also handles non-AWS diagrams — sequence diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, general architecture docs — things Fegura doesn't touch. And if your team is small, Eraser's $15/user/mo entry price is lower.
The tradeoff: Eraser only knows what you tell it. If someone provisions something directly in the console, or a resource gets modified outside of Terraform, Eraser has no way to know. Fegura scans your actual account, so the diagram reflects what's really there.
